Heading for Amy Lineham's 21st in Rotorua, we had two unscheduled nights in Taihape when all roads north were closed due to snow! It was kinda fun, but after two days in Taihape we were ready to go! We shot thru to Tauranga and had a cool catch-up with Amanda, Phil, Laura and Jamie (Meeting Leanne in Turangi on her way to the mountain for a couple of days snowboarding). It was nice to catch up with Ruth and Chloe at the Mount too.
We headed south again for three days/nights at Stu and Jenny's place in Taupo. We had a really nice time, walking, swimming at the hot pools and watching the Tour de France on SKY Sport! It was great spending time together as a family, and we had a great break.
