2008_12 It's December!

Well with the tinsel up and talk of holidays we find ourselves at the end of another year! Hopefully you have been able to catch up with what has been going on via the blog this year - or even better - we have seen you in person for a proper catch-up!!

I find that as I look back over a year it is so obvious to me now that God has faithfully been in every exciting situation, tricky situation, fun time, restless night, hilarious moment, busy week, encouraging conversation and hard conversation. It has been a full year with both encouragements and discouragements but what has been so cool is, with all the stuff that has happened the more God has needed to grow us and remind us to trust and acknowledge that He's got it sorted. Eph 3:17-20 "... and I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you mighty inner strength through his Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in Him... may you experience the love of Christ... then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God! Now glory be to God! By His mighty power at work within us, He is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope."

We would really like to thank you for the interest you take in our lives and for those of you that have prayed for us and supported us this year - we really do appreciate it. Love Heather, Pete and Kels x

2008_10 Family Reunion in Melborne!

Time with cousin Chris, catching up with Ruth, Franklin and Chloe, a family reunion and seeing the sights of Melbourne! It was great to catch up with everyone and to have the chance to say 'thanks God' for the way He has worked in our wider family. Uncle Will, Aunty Dorrie and Nan shared a little from their life stories which were a real encouragement and example to me. Awesome to see the way God is still actively at work in their 80's and 90's!!
