2008_04 Growing Up!
We love this kid!! Kelsey has grown up so much and now at 17 months is trying out a few words, running around, and enjoys swimming and Mainly Music! She has definitely got some cheek and personality - enough to give her father a run for his money one day!
2008_03 Power Up
These intermediate-aged guys are an enthusiastic bunch! We really appreciate the leaders and parents who have committed to these kids this year. It's exciting to have 27 of these kids enrolled to come to the Bible Discoverer's camp in Foxton in the April school hols. Camp and the Discipleship Teams (D-Teams) we run after camp will be an awesome opportunity to get to know these kids better and for them to be given an opportunity to respond to Jesus.
2008_03 TYG
A full on group - but we love these guys! As we have begun another year we are so aware of the need to be in tune with God. It's not always easy and we would really appreciate your prayer for real wisdom as we deal with different situations and discussions within the group. A real highlight for both Pete and I is meeting up with some of these guys one-on-one. Have just been reading about Epaphras! Not a real well-known character from the Bible but one who was noted for being a 'good co-worker', a 'faithful minister' who wrestled in prayer and one who was swift to see and speak of the good of others. A real challenge for us!
